Meet Piper
It all started with a simple wish: to help the dogs and cats at the Spartanburg Animal Shelter find loving homes. Piper saw a need in her community and decided that even at a young age, she could be the spark for change.
What began as a small table on a sunny sidewalk has flourished into a community-wide initiative. For four years, Piper has spent her summers squeezing fresh lemons and greeting neighbors with a smile.
"No one is too young to make a difference. Every cup helps a shelter pet."
Every dollar raised goes directly to the Spartanburg Animal Shelter, funding critical medical care, nutritious food, and comfortable bedding for animals waiting for their forever families.
Piper’s dedication has inspired other children in Spartanburg to start their own mini-charities, proving that kindness is contagious when served with a cold glass of lemonade.
Today, Piper continues to grow her mission, looking forward to her fourth year of service in 2026. She invites everyone to join her in making the world a little brighter, one lemon at a time.
The Lemonade Legacy
The First Stand
With a simple wooden table and a big heart, Piper launched her first stand in Spartanburg, raising her first donation for the local animal shelter.
Growing Community
The neighborhood rallied behind the cause. Local businesses joined in, and the 'Lemonade for Paws' initiative became a beloved seasonal tradition.

Our most successful year yet! We reached a milestone in total funds raised, providing medical care and food for hundreds of homeless dogs and cats.
